Meet The Team:

Catherine

Research Engineer

Dr. Catherine Pan is a research engineer at NASA who graduated from Stanford University with a Ph.D. in physics. In the past, she worked on projects such as NASA's NuSTAR mission. Recently, she and her colleagues are investigating a black hole’s potential to become an energy source for society.

Chinmay

Astrophysicist

Dr. Chinmay Patel is a world-celebrated scientist, who graduated from MIT with a PhD in astrophysics. He is extremely passionate about quantum mechanics and deep space travel. He has been bestowed with the Nobel prize in Physics for his discovery of the Unified Field Theory.

Mohammed

High School Student

Mohammed Mehkari is a high school student, studying for his final year at Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School. His immense interest towards the deep mysteries of space sparks his ambition to study at MIT and work with NASA in the future.

Who We Are

We are a group of dedicated scientific researchers working towards creating a safe, secure and sustainable renewable energy source. We have backgrounds in phyics and engineering and are deeply passionate about this planet and the needs of its inhabitants.

What is this project about?

The world is currently facing a shortage of energy. Ever since the beginning of mankind, war has been fought over resources. What if there was a way to fix this, a way in which the entire world could have unlimited renewable energy? One possible way this can take place is by harnessing the power of black holes, one of the mysteries of deep space.

This project is a scientific exploration of black holes, and their feasibility as an energy source. We will be researching the specific characteristics and structure of a black hole. Our experiments will primarily center around finding the idea black hole size from which humans should obtain energy. Then we will research different methods to harness energy of black holes and theoretically compare and contrast different methods. To help make our project relatable to the general public we will be using interactive models and a video presentation.
