It is astonishing how quickly these past couple of weeks have flew by. Today was our final conference. We were able to explain the different physical demonstrations that we had come up with as well as the significance of our project. We then sat down and discussed the future implementations of our project. Yes, it is a very common topic of harnessing energy from a black hole to power starships for interstellar travel. There are also other methods, including nuclear fusion and fission as well as antimatter that are being explored for this very purpose. Through the use of black holes, we found the radiation method, which involved solar panels, to be the most practical and easy to implement. This is because of the wide use of solar panels already in our global community. Further research and investigations would only require figuring out how to convert the radiation into energy. Furthermore, it is important that these solar panels are very mobile, meaning they orbit around the black hole at very high speeds to avoid being sucked in. It seems that our technological growing world will very soon be able to achieve this! To contrast this method to other processes such as using nuclear fusion and fission, as well as antimatter, this once seems the most promising. This is because the energy emitted through nuclear fission and fusion is very little, making it very inefficient. In terms of antimatter, it is also extremely inefficient and costly. Furthermore, it is difficult to contain this form of matter. Therefore, black holes will very soon be the energy source for us humans! I was also watching this video explaining the hawking radiation and energy of black holes. In it I found that there might be other civilizations, such as extra-terrestrials already ahead of us humans in the extraction of energy from black holes to power starships. Like gas that provides energy for a car to move, hawking radiation will allow for the propelling of these starships. This source can then be exhausted into space. If our technology is able to detect a spike in space, there is a possibility that ALIENS EXIST!
